He relocated in 1986 to Sweden and toured with such groups as the Platters. He later taught piano and music at the Falkoping’s Music School.
 

Several years ago Alex moved to California and set up a Music and Video studio, working on projects for Chalifour, The Coyotes, Randy Riggs, Robert Kunkel, Dewey Terry (music), Champion Bearing, Coachella Valley Symphony Orchestra and Desert Adventures (video), to name just a few. He also started working as a piano teacher and freelance pianist, playing at the major resorts, country clubs and nightclubs throughout the Coachella Valley.

Alex Danson Enterprises was started in early 2000 to offer services in Video, Music, Web design and Computer training.
